Rabies Vaccine for Human Use Purified Chick Embryo (Vaxirab N) 2.5IU is a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder vaccine that comes in a vial and is used to prevent rabies infection. It contains 2.5 International Units (IU) of the vaccine per dose. The vaccine is reconstituted with a provided ampoule of solvent to create a solution for intramuscular (IM) or intradermal (ID) injection.
